The first season features the crew members as they complete a winter Caribbean charter aboard the “Escape”, captained by Capri Sailing’s Kate Chastain; she was later replaced by Lee Rosbach for Season 2 due to personal conflicts with Kate that stemmed from their time together on board the yacht.[1][2] The second season featured Captain Lee Rosbach leading his team on board “Relativity” and later returning for Season 3-5 under his own company called Confetti Private Charters.[3] In addition, several cast members have appeared on multiple seasons of Below Deck including Hannah Ferrier who appeared in Seasons 1-4 before being promoted to chief stewardess; Leah White also appeared in Seasons 1–6 after leaving as chief stewardess on Relativity.

Below Deck season 1 was filmed in Nassau, Bahamas at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort and Spa in July 2013. Season 1 featured Captain Lee Rosbach as the Master Mariner which later became Skipper, Kate Chastain as Chief Stewardess who later became First Mate after departing the yacht early due to personal issues with her then boyfriend Chef Ben Robinson (who also left), Samantha Busby as Second Stewardess who won this position over stewardess Raquel “Rocky” Dakota Quirk; Andy Cohen as Captain’s assistant (still present) and Johnathan Alston-Buckley being hired on board at some point during filming but did not appear until Season 2 when he joined as Cook/Steward

Below Deck is filmed in several locations, including St. Barts and Mexico; however, Below Deck Yacht was shot exclusively in Croatia. The cast members are back for another season and ready to take on another adventure aboard luxury yacht “Below Deck Mediterranean”!
